During the spring semester students are hosted in Sparta and follow part of their courses in the modern facilities of the Department of Sports Organization and Management of the University of Peloponnese. In the cozy city of Sparta, students become part of the reality of Greek university life.

There, students can share experiences with their Greek colleagues or other international students.They organize sports events ie basketball games, or excursions in nature such as climbing or trekking in the mountain of Taýgetos. They also visit ancient monuments ie the archaeological site of Mystras, a unique example of a Byzantine city, listed as a natural heritage site by the UNESCO World Heritage list.
