Curriculum

According to the MSc study guide, the total number of credit units (ECTS) for the award of the MSc is 90: eight (8) compulsory courses and two (2) elective courses correspond to sixty (60) credits and the preparation of the Master’s Degree Thesis corresponds to thirty (30) credit units. The attendance and examination of the above courses shall take place in semesters A and B. During the third semester the student is required to complete the Master’s Thesis. The MSc starts in the winter semester of each academic year.

For the award of the M.Sc. degree, successful attendance and examination in all courses of the curriculum and the successful preparation and support of the Master’s thesis before the examination committee are required.

3rd Semester – Preparation, submission and presentation of Master’s Thesis

Here you can find the course outlines and the Master’s Degree Thesis with their corresponding basic learning outcomes.

The curriculum of the programme allows students to acquire specialized knowledge, contributes to the stimulation of dialogue, to the development of critical thinking and to the advancement of free and creative inductive thinking. Additionally, its unique interactive and international traits offers students the opportunity to further develop their values and life skills.

The educational process of each course includes one or more of the following forms: theoretical or face-to-face teaching, seminars, tutorials, practical and laboratory exercises, distance learning, individual or group assignments, study visits and excursions and preparation of a thesis.
